Hot Air for Hope is a fundraiser benefit for the Center for Hope and Healing. Supporting grieving families for the past 15 years, the Center for Hope and Healing provides a safe place for families to navigate through the loss of their loved ones and start the healing process. We are proud that sponsorships like yours allows us to provide our services to every individual and family FREE of charge.

Your donation to the Center for Hope and Healing, a 501(c)3 organization, is tax deductible to the fullest amount of the law. Thank you for your consideration and generosity. Your support for grieving children, teens and adults in our community exemplifies your love of life and dedication for the greater good and future of our collective community.

Set Up a Vendor Spot or Non-Profit Booth

May 15-18, 2026

On Friday May 15th, 6:00pm-10:00pm, our festival will have food and drink vendors and craft booths for all to enjoy at Lampe Park during Fire It Up, Carson Valley! The morning launch and this special evening will be a great time for public to get to interact with balloon pilots as they will be displayed around the park!

Saturday May 16th starts our full day festival, 5:00am-3pm, including live music performances, food trucks and booths, unique shopping vendors, and vendors from local non-profit organizations.

And Sunday May 17th, our last balloon flight day, food vendors will be stationed at the park from 5:00am-10:00am.

Volunteer

We have many volunteer opportunities ranging from setup, pedestrian traffic control in the park, clean up, and more.

We will also need volunteer balloon crew people to help the pilots and their balloons. It is a great way to get up close and personal with the balloon experience! On our training day, you can learn the entire process from balloon set up and inflation, to chasing the balloon, and learning how pilots and crew pack up their gear. This informational and fun training day will be included for all those who volunteer for Chase Crew.

We appreciate all of our volunteers that help our event run so smoothly.

Perform

Our festival will have a super fun rocking night Friday May 16th 6:00pm - 10:00pm with live music from Moxy Ruckus!

We also invite you to share your talent at the Carson Valley Balloon Festival - Hot Air for Hope during our all-day performance festival, Saturday May 17th 6:30am - 3:00pm!

There are many opportunities to participate as a performer. Artists, dancers, drama clubs, musicians & bands are encouraged to participate. If you would like to apply to perform, fill out and email our Performer Coordinator, the Cultural Arts Foundation of Douglas County!
